Some Good News!!! We would like to inform you that we have received financial support for the programme that allows us to assist successful applications with accommodation costs in Dakar. This will be either full or partial costs depending on the final number of applicants. Participants are still responsible for their own travel costs, meals, and the participation fee of 750 USD. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible to local and international institutions such as Prince Claus Fund, African Arts Trust (East African artists only) Arts Collaboratory, Institute Francais, office of Francophonie, etc. if you need financial assistance in covering these costs. We will assist in these application as much as we can when appropriate.
Additionally there will be a morning seminar on “Future(s) of Cohabitation” in collaboration with Manifesta Journal with participants: such as John Akomfrah, Bouchra Ouizguen, as well as a workshop on “Voice as Laboratory of Hybridity” with a screening program followed by discussion, led by Virginie Bobin.
