El Anatsui, Playing with Chance
CCA,Lagos celebrates artist El Anatsui at 70. Replacing a traditional exhibition instead we attempt to present a portrait of the man and his work over the past four decades through video, slide images, drawings, sketches, photographs, writings, documents as well as his art. The presentation of these archival material many for the very first time gives an insight into the thinking and working process of one of Africa’s most important contemporary artist.
